Note! Radio Zero-One is back on the air... with a new server and a new look.
Its newest, better-than-ever format contains none of the problems with the Live365 player that seemed to be so common before; no stupid advertisements, no glitches, no exorbitant fees... only a new vision for a new reality. Welcome to Neo's Radio Kismet.
Same time, same time zone... but this time, you don't need a media player to launch it, which eliminates a lot of problems right away. If we're currently live, you can launch the WebStream just by clicking here; you can also get more information about the station itself on that page. If you prefer to download a player that'll work directly with this station(and others!) and play it in stereo from your desktop, you can download the Destiny Media Player FREE. Also: check and see if we're live on the air at any given time by scanning the Pirate Radio Network.
Radio Kismet: tell a friend. You might just be surprised.

Note! As of July 10th, 2007, Radio Zero-One will be experiencing a short hiatus. We won't be offline during this time - as far as contact goes - but we will not be broadcasting any live shows. This archive contains more than sixty broadcasts; also, there is a show notes blog as well as a podcast feed(see the archive page for details). Feel free to check out any of these things; and watch this space for changes... as soon as we are on the air again, this page will be updated first!
Note: Well! Thanks to the grace of a devoted someone - to whom our first 'return' broadcast will happily be dedicated -
Radio Zero-One is now back on the air!
That's right folks, we're back: bigger, better, and more driven than ever. And now, you can even listen to Radio Zero-One's nightly broadcast directly from this page! How could it get any easier than that? Spread the word!
--- New! Radio Zero-One now has a call-in feature during the live broadcasts! Yes, that's right: you can now call in during the show to add your two cents, show your support, comment or request a song. [If you're capering with manic glee because you're planning to call in and think you're going to be able to insult us live on the air, you're the one who's half a "Dee Dee Dee"; we have time-delay recording software, specifically to keep that from happening - if you're a gratuitously nasty SOB who wants to "tell the world" that you think I'm "off my meds", your call will be summarily terminated; you may be worth "waking up", and I may love you all, but I don't have to put you on my radio - and the phone is registered to Thomas A. Anderson, no street address... so you won't be able to hate-call our "normal" line. Also, there's a nifty feature that comes with my phone plan: Call Trace. We've already reported one nasty harassing call. So it's really not worth it. Send an e-mail instead... or, better yet, try listening. You might understand a little better; or, at least, one can hope.
In any case, the call-in number is: 360-649-6223. We'll record your call and play it live on-air. Just like any radio station, abuse or crudity won't have time wasted on it. Just an FYI. For those of you who'd like to share your thoughts with others - what you've taken away from the broadcast - this is for you. Also: all calls to the "Radio Zero-One studio" should be kept to under two and a half minutes! If you have something to share that requires a longer span than that, we'll work it out. ---
Note: If you're here because of the recent spate of Seattle media mockery - or any kind of wankery that I'd rather not bother with, I just don't have the time for it anymore - then you've probably already seen the simple Mainframe page and the descriptive page I recommend to newcomers.
But if you're interested in just starting to listen to Radio Zero-One, I'd seriously recommend that you start by listening to the archived broadcast that was recorded live on April 14th, 2007: you can listen to it or download it here. It explains a lot... and a lot of people have already written in to me about it. To say so. It begins with a bit of rambling on Trinity's part, but if you bother to stick around for a few until I take the mic and get settled in... you'll hear the truth; right from me. How I feel about all of it... and, clearly, what I do.
** And now, for those of you who have missed broadcasts or who have been unable to tune in because of "scheduling conflicts", we bring you a nifty new feature: the Radio Zero-One Broadcast Archive! Yep, a growing library - updated nightly - of .mp3 recordings of each night's live broadcast, archived as it airs. Spread the word! **
For a good long while now, people who have contacted me either through the site or through some other format have told me that my spoken words are "more compelling" than the rants that I've written about Purpose and peace. Why? They tell me that they can hear my belief, my dedication, my living-breathing-existing for this single Purpose, in my words. And they've said that I ought to expand the immediate audience, and speak to a larger group.
Finally, I've taken their advice.
Thus was born: Radio Zero-One.
This is an online broadcast radio station, powered by Live365. What will we be broadcasting, you ask? And there's no one, quick answer to that. A great deal of it will have to do with Purpose, the Mission, and why we're here -- truth and freedom and real peace. If I've seen something brutally urgent in the visions, I'll share it here. But of course, no radio station is worth listening to -- and that's just my personal opinion -- without good music to shake your speakers. So there'll be some of that, too.
What's on my playlist? Trade secret... but as far as the "standard" stuff goes, I can give you an idea: Prodigy, U2, Skold, Celldweller, Smash Mouth, The Chemical Brothers, Was(Not Was) -- Hi, Dad! I'm in jail! I like it here! It's nice! -- Patti Smith, Shinedown, The Servant, Chevelle, Rage Against the Machine, Jack Off Jill, A Perfect Circle, The Pixies, Bush, Drowning Pool, Leonard Cohen, Nirvana, Eminem, The Cure... and that's just a few. Out of hundreds. Eclectic, much?
So, to make it as clear as I can:
What? Radio Zero-One, Neo's Broadcast Station.
Where? Care of Live365, online. You can find the station identification page here... and if you want to tune directly in, there's a link on the page.
When? Every night, at 9 P.M U.S. Pacific Time. If you're unsure what time that is where you are, check out WorldTimeZone.com. It's easy, convenient, and quick to use. If R-01 isn't directly on the air at precisely 9 P.M., don't panic: these things happen. But never fear. We WILL be broadcasting. If, for any reason, that night's broadcast experiences technical difficulties or some other issues, watch this page: a notice will be posted. Also, the broadcast begins at 9, but when it ends... who knows? It may be longer or shorter, depending on the "spirit that moves". We've been on-air - often depending on the interaction with listeners - anywhere from two hours to five hours. So if you're tuning in late and want a chance to catch a glimpse, we'll probably be on the air.
Important Note About Tuning In: Often, for whatever bizarre reason, the Live365 station page reads us as being off the air or "not currently available" when we're most definitely there, and broadcasting live. This is a glitch with the station network, not with our software, but there are several "tricks" to use to get around this:
If the "Play" button is grayed out/inaccessible, like Live365 seems to do so very often, here's the trick to tune in anyway - either click the little green "+" button next to the station name and add Radio Zero-One to your presets, and then launch it from there;
Use the free software provided by Live365 to launch streams directly from your desktop;
Create a free[regular] Live365 account and log in; that often solves the problem;
Add Radio Zero-One to your favorites prior to the show and again, launch it from there;
Or, look on this page and find a player link directly from the site.
If Live365 tells you we're down, and you try all of these tricks and still don't get a signal after fifteen minutes or so... then I'd say it's safe to assume we're off the air; but that happens very, very rarely. And usually we'll let you know ahead of time. But even then, I'd still recommend tossing a one-line e-mail our way to ask before you give up for the night.
If there's anything else you'd like to know about when and where we're broadcasting, feel free to send me an e-mail and I'll update you on the broadcasting schedule.
Also: there may soon be a call-in feature to the broadcasts! Depending on response and interest, a local number may be provided for those who want to call in, ask questions, make requests, or discuss on-air. BE WARNED! All harassment will be taken WITH THE UTMOST SERIOUSNESS AND DEALT WITH APPROPRIATELY. We've had more than enough of this to last a lifetime already, thanks.
If you'd like to find out more, make comments, leave requests or thoughts, you can reach me or Trinity -- as always -- via the Contact page.
To steal a rather melodramatic -- and copyrighted, I'm sure, so all rights belong to Warner Brothers, et al -- phrase: "Jack in; crank it up."
