Ripping apart the fabric of reality, exploding the very way you think, blowing apart your perceptions of the world around you... and cool music.
Welcome... to Gnosis.
Imagine you're sitting at home, spending yet another night at your computer: and, as always, wondering about the real truth of the world around you. For a long time now you've felt as if there was something else, something bigger, just beyond your ability to perceive it... but for all your trying, you've never been able to figure out exactly what that something is. And then, out of nowhere, you get an urgent middle-of-the-night message from a close friend of yours... and it all starts to unravel...
What if you were suddenly faced with a concept that you'd never thought possible? What if the world you know was suddenly turned on its head, black became white and white became gray, what if no one could be trusted, everyone was hiding a secret, and truth lay at the end of a maze of understanding that was just outside of your perceptions? And... what if... your entire reality began to change, before you even knew what was happening?
This is the principle behind Gnosis.
Gnosis is a puzzle/text adventure/simulation/cross-genre game designed for a specific purpose: discovering what that purpose is is the entire point. It takes you through some very real-world situations, in which fast thinking is helpful but not always the secret, and into some situations that can only be described as hyperreal. From cyberspace to traditional puzzles to casting off what you know of reality, Gnosis -- hopefully -- will stretch your perceptions. And the end result will surprise you.
Interested? Gnosis is freeware, with no hidden cost, no registration fees, no adware, etc. It was independently authored for the express purpose of sharing its message: and sharing it freely. So: provided you retain the License Agreement[and don't try to reverse engineer it: but why you'd want/need to, I don't know -- it's neither that complex nor that compelling, as disassembling goes], feel free to pass on either the link to Gnosis, or the Game itself!

"I've been playing point and click adventure games for quite awhile now, and although they are my favorites, they can get well, tiresome, but then I found Gnosis, wow, what a treat.
At first I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but I quickly fell into the mood of the game, making decisions, right or wrong is most of the fun! Much like real life, the wrong choice can indeed lead to disaster, [or the end of the game] don't worry you can always start over.
The puzzles are to me, I'm older, kinda difficult, but with some patience they can be solved. I haven't come anywhere near finishing the game, and am in no hurry to!
I can indeed recommend this game to anyone who wants something really new."
